Biographical Sketch:
Patricia D. Bonner-DuVal, M. Ed.

Patricia Bonner-DuVal is the president of Bonner Enterprises, a firm dedicated to providing fund raising, board development and strategic planning services for community-based, non-profit organizations. Prior to establishing Bonner Enterprises in January 1999, Patricia served as the vice president of development for the Environmental Careers Organization, a national, multi-site organization. She also served as the executive director of the Boston City Hospital Fund for Excellence, between 1991-1995, where she raised and distributed approximately $2 million in unrestricted and endowment funds annually. As the vice president of development for the Boston YWCA, she managed the fundraising, membership, public policy and special events office from 1981 to 1990.

Patricia is best known for her expertise in starting and reorganizing development offices and in launching new special events, many of which have gone on to become significant sources of organizational revenues. Finally, Patricia is also an adjunct professor at Springfield College School of Human Services in Boston, where she teaches grant writing.

Patricia has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Physics from Lincoln University and a Masters in Education from Harvard University. She has received 12 community service awards from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the City of Boston, United Way of Mass. Bay and several non-profit organizations. Patricia serves on the Board of Directors of two Boston-based organizations. She is married to John Aki DuVal and has two daughters.
